It all started with a random post on Reddit that struck a chord with me – the struggle of doing simple tasks like dishes while battling depression. Drawing from my own journey through those dark moments, "Drowning" became a way for me to express those feelings and connect with others who may be going through similar experiences

I'm tired
Even though I got all
My eight hours
My feet start to drag
To the shower
It's too hood, too cold
Water's louder
Overpowered

The dishes
Are piling up in the sink
And I'm wishing
Someone else could take away
All this thinking

It's beginning
